The Lord gives people peace by healing

Some people think believing the God is only a kind of psychological massage, people just want to find some emotional comfort in the religion, beside that it would not help anything.
I do not think so. Because our God is a living God, he is caring and mighty. He never gave empty words, but give peace to his people by healing and solving their real problem.
There is a true story in the book of John (John 5:5-9aNLT).
" One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years.
When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?”
"I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when they the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.”
Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!”
Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! "
This miracle happened on a Sabbath day, a day to rest in the Lord. On the sabbath day, the lord gave peace to the sick man, not by empty words, but by healing , healing his sickness and giving him health.
So if you have any request, any difficulty, any burden, come to the Lord. Our lord is a living God, he is caring and mighty. He will reach out his helping hands , solve your problem and give you peace.
