Paul and his parterres were messengers approved by God and apostles of Christ, and he made it very clear that their only purpose is to please God, not people.

They never tried to flatter people to win cheap friendship, instead they spoke with truth and pure hearts. They never tried to get people's money by pretending to be their friends, instead they worked hard to support themselves. They never sought human praise from them or anyone else, instead they seek the approval from God alone.

But they did not stay lofty above people, instead they cared for them like a mother feeding her own children , they love them so much that they shared with them not only the good news but also their lives.

“Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.” (Philippians‬ ‭2:6-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

They served the God with the same obedience as Jesus served the God, they served the people with the same unconditional love as Jesus loves the world.

Follow Jesus , follow Paul, be a true messenger approved by the God.

God blesses.

Bible verses
For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts. Never once did we try to win you with flattery, as you well know. And God is our witness that we were not pretending to be your friends just to get your money! As for human praise, we have never sought it from you or anyone else.
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:4-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but instead we were like children among you. Or we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children. We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too. 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:7-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬
