Settle your disagreement, because you belong to the Lord

It is normal that people have different opinion and disagree with each other sometime. But some disagreement , if not solved properly, could get serious and start harming the relationship and dividing the church. Are you ever in such disagreement? Or do you ever see other people in such disagreement? What we should do in these situations? Let's hear what Paul said about this.
"Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. (Philippians 4:2NLT)"
Take action to settle the disagreement, and settle the disagreement in a timely manner. Do not procrastinate, and let the disagreement unsolved. The longer you wait, the more harm it will afflict on the relationship and the church, and the more difficult to deal with. So Paul APPEAL Euodia and Syntyche to settle their disagreement quickly.
Some of these disagreement matters and some does not matter much. What really matters the most is the unity in christ. You all belong to the lord , this is the only reason Paul gave the two ladies to settle their disagreement.
"And I ask you, my true partner, to help these two women, for they worked hard with me in telling others the Good News.Philippians 4:3a NLT"
The disagreement can not be solved without your help. Do not be careless, do not take side, do not try to take any advantage of the situation. Instead, be thoughtful, whatever you do, whatever you say, do it for the good to help people to reconcile , not for the worse to push people apart. Paul himself did not take side, instead he encouraged them to settle the disagreement in the Lord.
"They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life. Philippians 4:3b NLT"
Have some faith in your brothers and sisters , have some faith in the Lord. Do not stereotype, do not lose hope, do not think the disagreement has no chance to solve , and do not say these people have no way to get along with each other.
Paul saw the beautiful picture of these two ladies working along with other people, he also saw the beautiful picture in his faith that the two ladies settling their disagreement and working along with each other for the Lord.
So, settle your disagreement with other people in a timely manner if you have any. Help people to reconcile not push people apart. Have some faith in the lord and in your brothers and sisters.
Be a peace maker for the lord.
