My mom was a teacher. When I was little, she told me," Behave well and study hard no matter the teacher is watching you or not. Because you learn for yourself , not for the teacher."
Paul said the similar words to the Philippians, always follow the commands sincerely, and always obey the God with deep reverence and fear, no matter I am with you or I am away. The most important things is to please the God.
So do not look at other people. Instead, look at yourself and look at the God. The God has place the desire and power in you to do what please him. Rely on the inner strength and work out the salvation you already received from him.
