A true servant and a true leader of the Lord

People like to be a leader, sitting at high position, having authority, giving commands, getting people listen to them and work for them.
But Jesus said these are not the leaders he wants in his kingdom, these are the rulers in the world, who lord over people and flaunt authority over people.
He said , among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else.
Jesus does not mean that serving is the road to gain the position of a leader, then you could lord over people. Instead, he means serving is at the very heart of the leaders in the kingdom, it is the essence of being a leader.
In Jesus 's language, being a leader is not about having a high position and authority, it is about service, serving people in his love. Also being a servant is not about having a low position and bending to other people's authority, it is about the privilege of being able to serve people in his grace. Actually, not many people you could serve, and some people would not even like your service.
Just as Jesus himself, he is the first of all creation, he is the head of the church, he is the son of God , he came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
