It was by faith that Moses submitted to the Lord

I felt sorry for Moses that he was denied of entering the promised land by the God only because he did not fully follow his instruction the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. It was so unfair after so many years of hardship and faithful service for the Lord.

But reading the Bible back and forth, I did not see any slight hint of bitterness, complain or protest in the heart of Moses himself!

He was just so pure in the faith to the Lord. He knew it was the Lord who gave breath to all creatures, he knew his time had come , he knew it was time to raise a new leader to lead the people; he knew his own struggle even his own rebellion to the Lord, he knew God's great reward waiting for him in the heavenly home. He just simply submitted to the Lord in his faith.

It was by faith that Moses was able to submit to the lord completely, and served the Lord and the Isareal people his whole life. What a blessed life!

So have faith in the Lord!  It is also by faith that we could  follow Jesus , submit to the lord , and have a blessed life.

Blessings.

Bible verses,
One day the LORD said to Moses, “Climb one of the mountains east of the river, and look out over the land I have given the people of Israel. After you have seen it, you will die like your brother, Aaron, for you both rebelled against my instructions in the wilderness of Zin. When the people of Israel rebelled, you failed to demonstrate my holiness to them at the waters.” (These are the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.) (Numbers‬ ‭27:12-14‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Then Moses said to the LORD, “O LORD, you are the God who gives breath to all creatures. Please appoint a new man as leader for the community. Give them someone who will guide them wherever they go and will lead them into battle, so the community of the LORD will not be like sheep without a shepherd.” (Numbers‬ ‭27:15-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬)
