The LORD confronted Moses and was about to kill him

Moses's wife was the daughter of the priest of Median, and Moses's son was uncircumcised.
On the way back to Egypt, God confronted Moses and was about to kill him. But Moses's wife circumcised their son , and had a marriage of blood with Moses. After that the Lord left him alone.
God is holy. God choose Moses not because he had a holly family, but the God purified Moses's family for his service.

On the way to Egypt, at a place where Moses and his family had stopped for the night, the LORD confronted him and was about to kill him. But Moses’ wife, Zipporah, took a flint knife and circumcised her son.
