When you put on sunglasses

On that stage, a bunch of boys

You sang Crazy Little Thing Called Love

A roar of cheers burst out 

We couldn't stop freaking out over how

Oh, just how our babies have grown up so fast

An hour before the showtime

We just found out, dad's suit had become short

The dress shoes were also a bit too small

You said never mind

I said you should have told me

I couldn't stop freaking out over how

Oh, just how my baby son has grown up so fast

When you boys took off the sunglasses and spread your arms

You sang "This thing called love, I just cannot handle it"

In your bass voice

We all smiled and watched you, a bunch of young men

We all patted on our shoulders
