The Lord is also my God

Many years ago, I attended an ESL bible study class at an American church in Pennsylvania. I was deeply attracted by the Christians brothers and sisters around me . The kindness, peace, joy, and faith in their hearts really attracted me.I really wanted to be one of them and call their God my God.
But could their God be my God, a man grew up in China, the ancient eastern socialist country?
I kept asking this question until one day the ESL bible class studied Genesis 12. The Lord said to Abraham, "You will be a blessing to others", " All the families in earth will be blessed through you."
Wow, this God is not only the God of Abraham, not only the God of the Jews, not only the God of the white people, not only the God of the black people, and this God is also my God, the God of a Chinese with yellowish skin and black eyes ! I am so happy to call the God my God. I became a Christian from then on.
And this is God's plan: we, both Gentiles and Jews could become the children of God, be part of the same body, share equally in the rich inheritance, enjoy the same promise of blessings, by believing in the good news and belonging to Jesus Christ!
So, believe in Jesus Christ, and the God could also be your God!
