The godly love

The bible draws a very high standard for love. One might wondering how we human being could possibly reach that bar?
But do you realize that we have been loved exactly the same way by the Lord. He is patient and kind. He always ready to forgive our sin whenever we turn our hearts to him. He even died on the cross for us, to free us from sin and gives us new lives. He is always with us, no matter we are on the green pastures or we are through the darkest valley. He is always faithful, he always hope ,and he never gives up on us.
Love is patient and kind. This is not a bar we could reach with a body of human being; it is the way we could live our lives with his grace. It is the godly love, a gift he gives to us, the people he loves.
Today is valentine day, a day to celebrate love! May the Lord fill your life with love!
