The house was  a gift from the father-in-law.

小舅子负责的装修，

The remodeling of it was done by the brother-in-law.

大舅哥给添的家电，

The appliances were presents from the other brother-in-law.

大姨子张罗的床上用品，

The big sis-in-law took care of the bed linings.

小姨子买了四季的服装鞋帽，

And the little sis-in-law bought all the necessary dresses.

媳妇自带的金银细软。

The bride even brouht with her all the jewelry and luxurious goods.

他都没花什么钱。 

Guy didn't even need to foot the bills of the wedding.

拜堂开始也挺顺利的，

Even the ceremony went on so smoothly.

就是最后送入洞房时，

挽着媳妇上楼梯，脚一滑，

醒了

And that was until he tried to push it to a perfect ending. As he was helping his bride up the stairs to their bridal chamber, he slipped, and he woke up!
