Hell for hell, Heaven for heaven

I quarreled with my husband because of some little things on Sunday. It was not hot on that day, I planned to have a good rest at home, sleeping, reading, watching TV etc , but my husband suggested to go to the park with my daughter, after thinking for a while, I decided to go. As I think it good for my daughter to get in touch with the nature. But when I agreed with him & got ready to go to the park, he changed his idea. He just told me he won’t go because he’d like to watch TV. I was very upset for he always broke his promise. In my opinion a really man should take his word into action, especially for a man like his age, otherwise how can he has the sense of responsibility? In the end, I brought my daughter to the park together with my mum, we stayed at outside for the whole day. I didn’t talk to him after backing home , neither did he.

Actually we are always fighting with each other. Sometime because he is not feeling well, refused to communicate with me, which makes me very angry. Sometimes because I complaint to him about something, he becomes enraged.

 I went to work on Monday morning, turned my back to him. The same day afternoon, I attended Carnegie training. It’s my first course. It was an interesting class, full of fun & benefit a lot.

After the training, I went back home with a thinking in my mind, that is to apply what I learned from the training to my family. When I opened the door , I smiled to my family, they are infected by me, especially my husband, who used to show sullen face to me after our fighting, now talked to me. We are reconciled with each other immediately. Usually it takes a long time for us to make up.

In the following two days, I kept the gold principle in my mind, “Don’t criticize, condemn or complain” “ Smile” “ Make the other person feel important-and do it sincerely.”We didn’t quarrel at all. Even when we have some argument & go to have a storm , I just kept smiling & stop complaining & let him feel himself important to me , the atmosphere became good. How amazing Carnegie training is ! How wonderful the golden book is! Dale Carnegie, I love you! You make my life better!
