Pray for those in authority

The CEO of Lam research resigned as the company investigates allegations of misconduct in the workplace and conduct inconsistent with the company’s core values. He will leave the company without receiving any severance benefits, according to the company’s news release.
So far this year , four chief executives of major semiconductor firms left the company amid largely unexplained allegations of impropriety, including Intel, Rambus ,Texas instrument and latest Lam research.
Without the guidance and protection from the God, without the fear of God in the heart, without prayer, people are so easily entangled by sin and go astray on the wrong path, especially for those who on the high positions.
The Bible says, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. “ (1 Timothy 2:1-4 NIV)
So pray for all people , especially for those in authority, pray for the guidance and protection from the God, pray that they have fear of God in their hearts, pray that one day they all know the God , rely on the God, come to the lord, and be saved.
