Being gentle and humble in the heart

People ( me) sometime bend the stubborn and proud head, yield to others while holding grudge in the heart , submit to the authorities while having unwillingness in the heart, and call it being humble and gentle.
No, this is not. This is far from being humble and gentle! Jesus said he is gentle and humble IN THE HEART. It must be in the heart that you are gentle and humble.
Only by being gentle and humble in the heart , you can find rest for your souls. And only by being gentle and humble in the heart you can take on his yoke and serve him.
Jesus said, “ Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. “ (Matthew 11:29 NIV)
