The February Sunshine 

You gently called my name—

The sky cleared up 

The snow started to melt

The rain stopped 

And the fog and clouds drifted away 

You lean against the wall in the doorway 

Admiring me with your clear blue eyes, while waiting for 

Me to get ready for this beautiful day 

And I could as well skip putting on my cherry lipstick 

Look—

The flowers on the southern slope are blooming 

Those white and pinkish blossoms 

Glistening with raindrops 

Let's go to see
