Hope Toastmaster Meeting Recap 3/4/2017

Today’s meeting was kicked off by our president Bill. Toastmaster of the day was Fei, Adam stepped in while she has to come in late, that was great teamwork! Table topic master Shimin set the theme to “protecting wildlife” as March 3rd was the World Wildlife Day. According to Shimin, “the theme of 2017 World Wildlife Day happened to be “listen to the young voices”, which was in line with the mission of the club.”



Speaker1 Alexis

Alexis - Icebreaker Speech. Alexis was relaxed and fun while delivering her first speech. Her life story resonated with many kids in the audience. She came in prepared and grasped audience attention with her unique style.







Speaker2 Lynn

Lynn - Icebreaker Speech. How often do tiger moms plan kids future? All the time! Including shopping time. Lynn shared her experience how she learned a valuable life lesson while she was shopping for furnitures, which opened her mind accepting an alternative path if her kids decide to go down that road. Her story was intriguing and thought-provoking, we look forward to many more.
