King Hezekiah of Judah showed great faith in the Lord when Sennacherib king of Assyria invaded Judah .
He encouraged his people,"
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh,
but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.”
The people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.
The Lord saved king Hazekiah and people of Jerusalem from Sennacherib. The Lord sent an angle to kill all his fighting men, and the king himself was killed by his own son back home.
Yes! There is a greater power with us than with him, the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. Have faith in the Lord, and over come the world.
