Thank you again for participating in the 2^nd “Pizza and Politics: A Teen Political Forum” on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Cupertino Community Hall.

 

We have confirmed attendance from all the candidates for this event.

 

Earlier this week, the advisors from both host cities, Cupertino and Saratoga, met and are excited about organizing this event with their respective youth commissions.

 

A flyer has been created to promote the event (see attached). If you can include it in your campaign publicity (social media, emails, tabling at events, etc.), it would be much appreciated. A press release has been sent to the local media. We hope to have a full house.

 

Below is the schedule for the event.

 

SCHEDULE

7:05 p.m. – Welcome

·         Youth Commission chairs, Mayors from both cities, followed by Moderator

7:12 p.m. – 1^st Round

·         Cupertino USD Board Candidates (3 candidates)

7:40 p.m. – End of 1^st Round

·         Break

7:45 p.m. - 2^nd Round

·         Saratoga USD Board Candidates (5 candidates)

8:15 p.m. – End of 2^nd Round

·         Break

8:20 p.m. – 3^rd Round

·         State Assembly (28^th District)   

8:50 - END

 

When we get closer to the event, I’ll include more information about the debate format. As I mentioned in the initial email, it will be very similar to the forum we hosted two years ago.
