Dear PLAY members,

The Kiwanis Danville July 4th Parade is an incredible event which attracts over 40,000 attendees including local community residents as well as friends and family from areas far beyond Danville.  

Catharine Baker will be standing in a decorated parade truck with her supporters to get her campaign out there at this Bay Area's largest event. Our members and family have privilege to stand with her, if you are interested in joining the event. Those don't want to stand in the truck, can walk in the parade; or if you don’t want to walk with her, you may just be a audience...

This is a great opportunity to showcase our fantastic candidate to our community, and have some patriotic fun while doing it!

When: 

The parade will begin at 9:00am sharp. We need to be gathered at our staging area (San Ramon Valley High School) at 8:00am, where we will distribute Baker T-Shirts, signs, water, and donuts.

Parking: 
Parking is available at the Sycamore Rd. Park and Ride starting at 7:30am. Parade shuttles will be provided to bring participants to our staging area. Keep in mind that this shuttle may make other stops, so make sure to get off at the San Ramon Valley High School.

Wear: 
Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. 

Duration of parade: 
The parade will begin at 9am and go until 11:30am; however, it will only take our group 1 hour to walk through the parade. We will not know when it is our turn until the morning of, but we need to be prepared at 9am, and also realize that we may have to wait in line. 

What to bring: 
Please bring a Baker lawn sign if you have one. We will be handing out signs, but have a very limited quantity of them. The more signs, the better!

What we will be doing: 
We will be walking with the Baker parade truck, wearing Baker T-Shirts, and handing out Jelly Bellies with Baker for Assembly info to promote Catharine's campaign.
