Dear Cal Alumni,

You are invited to join Cal Startups, the new startup organization that connects Berkeley alumni entrepreneurs, investors and startup enthusiasts. Cal Startups was founded under Berkeley Chinese Alumni International Association (2007 Berkeley Alumni Club of Year), and is aiming to provide our members exclusive chances of networking, knowledge and resources. We are an active participant of the Berkeley entrepreneurial ecosystem, and are aiming to bring our members a hands-on experience when you are co-founding your startup or making investment decision.

On Oct 14, we will host our first event with Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology. We are honored to invite Mr. Wu Jun (吴军), senior scientist at Google and ex-VP at Tencent to share about his startup experience within large corporations. Jun is an expert on search engine languages, a fruitful author and an active early stage investor. We will host him through an 1.5 hour lecture (together with CET), and have a private dinner with him. The dinner is $25 per person.
