A sabbath day of complete rest
This Sunday afternoon, I sat in a quite library reading my bible with a cup of coffee in my hand. My heart was really touched while reading the following bible verse.
You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly. It is the LORD’s Sabbath day, and it must be observed wherever you live. (Leviticus 23:3 NLT)
What a gracious God we have! He knows our labor our burden our weary, but he wants to give us rest , and complete rest . This is why he set up the sabbath day, on this day he want us to enjoy his presence and have a complete sabbath rest in his grace, no matter what is going on in the world. Keep in mind that the Lord gave Israelite the sabbath rest while they were traveling in the desert.
