Abraham not only setup a good role model of faith to the God, he also setup a good role model of humanity.
Sarah, after accompanying him traveling around for years, passed away at age of 127 in the land of Canaan.
There Abraham mourned and wept for her, and he decided to give his beloved wife, his longtime accompany a proper burial.
So he bought a pieces of land from the Hittite, and buried Sarah there in the promised land.
In humanity, we bring home the deceased soldiers from the battle field, and we give our beloved ones proper burial to rest when they pass away.
Humanity and love come hand-to-hand with faith and holiness.
