Do not get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights

People could easily get involved in argument. Sometime the argument turns ugly, getting hot and breaking into fight. There is an old Chinese saying , a dog bites a dog, each gets a mouthful of fur.
But Paul told Timothy not to get involved in these foolish , ignorant arguments that only start fights.
You must not quarrel but be kind to every one , otherwise you will lose the ability to teach. He asked Timothy not to argue even with those difficult people and those who oppose the truth. Always leave room for the God to act. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap.
"This is very difficult. How could do this? " one could ask.
The only way is to ask the mercy from God. Be his sheep, recognize his voice and follow his command. Jesus said,"I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me,” John 10:14 NLT
