There were false prophets and false teaching at Ephesus in the time of Paul and Timothy , and they had to face and deal with these people and teachings. Paul gave Timothy clear and detailed instruction on this when he was alone at Ephesus.

Firstly, do not be surprised when you encounter people who turn away from the faith and follow some teaching against the truth . Because the Holy Spirit tells us clearly this will happen in the last days.

Secondly, do not blind yourself to these people and teachings. Instead keep an eye on these people , look at these teaching carefully , discern clearly what is right and what is wrong, and explain these things clearly to the bothers and sisters.

Thirdly, focus on the true message of the faith, and nourish God's people by the good teaching they have followed.

This is the way how a trustworthy servant of God should deal with the false prophets and teachings.

We are in a era no better than the one when Paul and Timothy were in. There are many confusing sayings , so follow Paul's instruction to Timothy also, deal with the false teaching carefully, and be a faithful servant of Christ.

God blesses.

Bible verses,
Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.1 Timothy‬ ‭4:1-2 NLT‬‬

They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth. Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. For we know it is made acceptable by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy‬ ‭4:3-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

If you explain these things to the brothers and sisters, Timothy, you will be a worthy servant of Christ Jesus, one who is nourished by the message of faith and the good teaching you have followed. 1 Timothy‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
