To live a quiet life

It is a blessing to have a quiet life. But, It is not easy. Paul asked the Thessalonians to make this a goal and make effort to reach the goal.
Minding your own business and working with your own hands. This does not mean to separate from other people and stay away from the trouble. It means focus on whatever you are working on , hold yourself responsible and accountable for your own behavior , and make your own contribution. This is the key for a family , for a company , and for a society as well.
I once worked for a company which underwent business and organization changes. The CEO asked every individual, no matter who they are, to focus on whatever they are working on, hold on whatever within their control, keep on working without distractions. This is the best way to help the company.
Paul said to the Thessalonians , "Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others."
