Privilege is a right or benefit that is given to some people and not to others.
Do you know that you are given the privilege of both trusting in Christ and suffering for him, at the very moment you accept Jesus Christ as your savior?
Paul used his own life to encourage the Philippians to trust in the lord and stay strong in suffering . He saw that the lord is worthy of the trusting and suffering for.He saw the lord's glory and his mighty hands at work in his suffering.
He saw everyone including the whole palace guard knew that he was suffering for Christ when he was in chains.
He saw most of the believers there had gained confidence and boldly spoke God’s message without fear because his imprisonment .
He saw God's message was spread out, even some false apostle preached out of jealousy and self ambition.
So do not be intimidated when you are in trouble . It is a privilege to trust in him and a privilege to suffer for him. Do not lose your sight, cherish the privilege in your hear as the most precious treasure .
