Do not lose the sigh of the day our Lord coming back

The time that remains is very short. Here Paul was talking about the second coming of the Lord. But the idea are so remote today to most of us, we completely lose the sight of the day our Lord coming back.
We are so busy, so absorbed in our daily lives, like ostriches digging their heads deep in the sand. We are busy at raising children, taking care of ourselves and our family. We are busy at weeping , weeping at the burden, unfairness and loss we have in our lives, sometime even burdened into depression. We are busy at enjoying our lives, enjoying good food , good time and good fellowship with friends and family. We are busy at buying, buying delicious food, good looking cloth, nice car and big house.
But Paul said, do not be so absorbed and so attached to the world. This world will soon pass away, no matter it is good or bad. The time that remains is very short,our Lord will be coming back soon.
So do not lose sight of the heaven, do not lose sight of the eternal life, do not lose sight of the day of Lord's return. What a blessing for our fellow Christians! Do not lose sight of it!

But let me say this, dear brothers and sisters: The time that remains is very short. So from now on, those with wives should not focus only on their marriage. Those who weep or who rejoice or who buy things should not be absorbed by their weeping or their joy or their possessions. Those who use the things of the world should not become attached to them.
