[The Alley]
Ye Sha
Worn are the words
Like drizzles they keep hitting the stone wall
Thought of as forgotten
But are reclaimed by the nosy wind
You compare these past years to a tree
Robust are thoughts
I, though, feel like a fallen leaf
In a small alley traversed over the years
Fallen quiet

[Three Twilight Songs]
Ye Sha
A couple of swallows circled up
twilight
And weaved a music score
The sun being absent
Rain drops vied to turn into notes
I shut up the rain
And put out twilight
And I heard night pull up a chair
To quietly sleep
Of moonlight
Cooking smoke knows more than I
Rising slowly, touching the
boundless solitude
One lantern keeps its warm
hues and
Sits face to face
With the ever-deepening night
Evening fog thickened into a river
Thin only was the view of mountain
Our laughter went down the stream
While twilight came up against
the flow
In the sky not to be awakened by
star lights
Stood a bewildered moon
