Argentine Tango
Elegantly, I step on the dance floor
Under your gentle escort.
Softly, I put another hand on your back.
We then momentarily connect!
The lights are dim in the tones of blood red.
Ready!
Pause, slightly but steadily move, and pause.
Mysteriously flow and glide where you lead.
Face to face,
Eyes to eyes,
My body is inside your arms,
In such a close and breath-taking embrace.
Rise and fall,
Flow and ebb,
Drifting like the waves at the shore.
Pivot, pivot, under you lead
To move and sway to the Argentine melody.
