SCA5 is dead because of our effort, do not shamelessly count it as yet another one of your accomplishments of "helping local Chinese community." SHAME on you!

我們還想請問，當各個社會團體熱情邀請你參加SCA 5研討會時，你躲到哪裏去了？當我們一次次敲響你辦公室的大門，希望討論這個問題時，你躲到哪裏去了？當我們把上千份選民簽名送到你辦公桌上時，你躲到哪裏去了？
是SCA 5擦亮了我們的眼睛，否則我們真的不敢相信，民主國家，民主選舉出來的人民公仆，可以如此沒有擔當。你幾個星期心安理得躲在角落不執行你的責任，卻在今天堂而皇之地跳出來認領勝利果實。現在，我可以明白告訴你：既然你可以把我們辛辛苦苦挨家挨戶敲門得到的上千份簽名當成廢紙，我們就可以去挨家挨戶地告訴大家，不要因爲一個候選人同爲黃皮膚就把選票投給他！

As a candidate for San Jose City Council District 1, Paul Fong has heard your concerns over SCA 5, and presented your concerns to the Assembly Leadership.

PAUL FONG'S CONTRIBUTION TO ASIAN AMERICANS
Many of you know that Paul has fought for the Asian American community since the 1970s. Here are some of the highlights:
- In 1973, Paul co-founded AACI, the largest provider of health services to the Asian Pacific Islander population in Santa Clara County.
- Paul taught Asian American Studies at De Anza College.
- Paul registered Asian American voters in Cupertino to elect the first Chinese American Mayor of Cupertino in 1991, Dr. Michael Chang.
- Paul also authored ACR 42, which was signed into law in 2009, where California apologized for its treatment of Chinese Americans in the 19th and 20th Centuries.
