Dear Tesla Advocates,
After their unsuccessful efforts last year, auto dealers in Ohio are back at the state capital, working hard once again to pass legislation to prevent Tesla from selling vehicles in your state. We need your help to stop them!
The legislation, SB 260, would change existing law to stop Tesla from opening or operating any additional stores or service centers in Ohio.
We’re going all out to fight for the rights of Ohio consumers, and you can play an important part!
This bill could move quickly, so we need you to contact your Governor, local Senator, and State Assemblyman to let them know that you want Tesla to stay and grow in Ohio. Please join us and other Tesla Advocates at the Capitol for the House hearing tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11, to show your support for Tesla and your opposition to SB 260.

Did you know:
• There are more than 250 Tesla Roadster and Model S owners in Ohio, with more joining our community every week.
• Tesla currently uses more than a dozen different Ohio suppliers in the production of Model S, spending over $10 million per year in Ohio, with that amount expected to double in 2014.
• Tesla has stores and service centers in Columbus and Cincinnati, and service coming soon to Cleveland. Every Tesla store and service center opened creates 15-20 jobs in Ohio. Each location will contribute an initial $7-10 million in direct economic activity to the state. If SB 260 passes, however, Tesla will be banned from creating additional jobs, opening new locations, and bringing substantial economic investment to the State.
• At the end of 2013, we brought our Supercharger network to Ohio, enabling long distance travel in the state to support its growing number of Tesla owners.
Please help us spread the word. We thank you sincerely for your immediate action.
