前几天还有朋友因为那个FOB一词有歧视嫌疑而烦恼,看看这警察的行为,我们在他人眼中不就是FOB吗,而且是illegals, or using a politically correct term, undocumented aliens。

Comedian Margaret Cho 在CNN说起invisible Asian Americans being viewed as foreigners.

“JFK is quite different from other white. Unfortunately we are living in a town with too much discrimination.”

“A civil lawsuit has been filed on the woman's behalf against police and City of Chicago. I see merits in this lawsuit: the cops never told the woman that she's under arrest, neither did they tell her her constitutional right. So it's a wrongful arrest. The cops used excessive force in it, both verbally and physically. At the end, the cops saw the security camera and tried to get the video footage, that's similar to destroying of evidence, which violates the code of conduct and law. I hope the plaintiff to win the civil lawsuit, not only for herself, but also for every minority in this country, for the rule of law to prevail.”
