PLAY (Promoting Leadership in Aspiring Youth, http://www.weidb.com/playclub) is an organization that emphasizes high standards of leadership, public speaking, and political/social engagement in youth. PLAY seeks to introduce young adults of all ages and backgrounds to the public affairs and help raise community awareness of issues in governments of local, state, and Federal.

* PLAY just launched its first year Annual Essay Invitation. The essay topic is to focus on social, economical and political issues and public affairs in California.

* In order to help out our youth raising awareness of those topics and brainstorming the resolution, PLAY is to invite current 16th district Assembly Joan Buchanan to speak to our youth. Our youth also got chance to interview with her. If your youth is interested in attending, please sign up so that we will have a head count
