^{Do you know that Republic Services Inc. has won ”Corporate Citizen of the Year”? The award came from the Milpitas Chamber of Commerce.  In 2014, Republic Services Inc. at the Newby Landfill got 6 public nuisance tickets from a state official organization, Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD), that reflected Milpitas’ air was polluted by the Newby landfill, and residents were suffering from the air pollution; that means the Newby Landfill is not our good neighbor or corporate citizen. Milpitas Chamber of Commerce gracefully bestowed on Newby a crown of corporate citizen of the year!}  

^{Are you wondering why the Newby Landfill, a public nuisance can win a corporate citizen award? Is it a surprise? It is not a surprise since Money Talks! If money talks, then residents lose voice!}

^{Can we get our voice back and be heard by government? Yes!  Our Assembly member Kansen Chu proposed AB 385 which will serve the function of sending our voice out to reach our government.
