Dr. Jia Li

Background:

Dr. Li obtained her PhD from University of Virginia in Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics; MS training from University of Alberta, Canada,

Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University China.

In the odyssey of raising her daughter who graduated from Yale University in June 2013 and is now attending Harvard Law School, she developed deep understanding of American education system and strong belief that every child has the potential to reach excellence with quality coaching, encouragement and inspiration. One of the students she coached, Angela, was selected as the National Finalist for 2014 Intel Science Talent Search.

Besides actively serving in her church for more than ten years, she has also played a prominent role in the local community. She helped to organize the Annual San Ramon Valley Unified School District College Night event with over 120 participating colleges, and had served as the social life committee co-chair for the Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society. She helped many students got accepted by dream colleges with financial aid.

Her motto is “Let’s make it or die trying”.
