Today hubby took me to an Indian Chinese restaurant, where I was representing East Asia and he was the only Caucasian. We ordered spicy halal dry-lamb and spicy tilapia. Oh boy, my tears came out since it was so hot!
To return hubby's favor, guess what I put on the dinner table to feed him tonight? Gator! Added a bunch Sichuan pepper 藤椒, and it was his turn to get tears running, hehe. It tasted so tender and delicious....omnommm
Btw, to share a secret: by the time I picked it up, the water was totally dry up and nearly burnt the whole pot of it. However, the small accident had added a twist to its flavor! Shall I apply for a special-dish patent? Called just-about-burnt alligator 糊锅鳄鱼?
