CONTENT:
Government rules resulting from government laws have had a big impact on the Chinese community. Come understand the process of government rule making and how you can participate and impact government rule making for the benefit of the Chinese community.
SPEAKER BACKGROUND:
Roger Minami was a political appointee within the Administration of President George W. Bush in the Agriculture and Transportation Department, with a focus on small business-related federal prime and subcontracting. He is an active member of Asian Pacific Islander(API) American Public Affairs Association (APAPA), where he assists the API community to advocate for their issues and concerns among public policy leaders. He hopes to someday form an APA military Chaplain association to facilitate the needs of the growing APA personnel in the military.
