Job title: Scientist

Job Description: 

 

Job purpose:
Completes research and development by participating in research projects

 

Job responsibilities:

• Completes research projects by utilizing hands-on scientific and technical expertise.
• Recording and analyzing data
• Presenting results to senior/other research staff
• Demonstrating procedures
• Ensuring that quality standards are met
• Developing original solutions to problems
• Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
• Working with team member to develop end product
• Writing research reports, papers, reviews and summaries

 

Skills & Qualifications:

PhD with at least 2 years of working experience, a cancer biologist with industry setting working experience will be preferred. Candidate must be able to create a safe and effective environment, has scientific curiosity and problem solving ability, has fluent verbal & written communicationskills, and willing to collaborate with other team members.

 

Qualified Scientist must have the following skills:

• Expertise in molecular cloning (PCR, RT-PCR, primer design, RE digestion and DNA ligation, library and vector construction, sequence analysis); 
• Experience of antibody Phage-display library and/or antibody yeast display library is preferred; 
• Familiar with antibody skill (ELISA, Western-blot, hybridoma construction and screening, antibody purification, etc. )
• Familiar with cell culture skills (PMBC isolation, mammalian cell culture, transient transfection, stable cell line selection, etc.)
• Experience of high-density cell culture in bioreactor and protein purification is preferred.
