I co-authored SB 1079 to stop the California Air Resources Board’s hidden gas tax hikes of up to 76 cents/gallon from being implemented.
But that’s just one thing I did to earn a coveted 100% rating from the California Taxpayers Association.
My efforts to protect California taxpayers also include:
Helping defeat billions in new tax hike proposals that would have derailed California’s economic recovery.
Leading the fight to stop the diversion of billions in transportation tax dollars to other areas of the state budget.
Protecting taxpayers from overspending, waste and abuse is a responsibility that I have taken seriously.
