               ——麦冬

百年后，我们不再写诗
石头和石头睡在一起
我们和菊黄的想象
给过去涂上颜色

百年后
我们的翅膀选择了放下
我们的羽毛
代替了一次自由的表决

百年后，我们已不再奔波
但我们的爱还在流淌
儿女们不知寒冷的理想还泊在纸上

百年后
我们的诗歌已结满留言
我们的南坡长满深绿
那些被我们宠坏了的绵羊
走向高原

百年后
我们已没有仇人
但这个世上还有监狱
还有一把陈年的卡宾枪
讲着粗糙的传说

百年后
我们守着泥土
守着谷子的根
守着生前的温暖
我们用云彩
涂过的信仰
已在石碑上安息
 
 

【One Hundred Years Later】

One hundred years later, we will no longer write poetry
Rocks will sleep with rocks  
We and the imagination of chrysanthemum yellow   
Will apply colors to the past

One hundred years later
Our wings will choose to lay themselves down 
Our feathers
Will replace the freedom vote

One hundred years later, we will no longer rush around 
However, our love will continue to flow 
Unrealistic ambitions of children will still remain securely on paper

One hundred years later
Our poems will be replete with messages
The south slope of our hills will be overgrown with dark green
The sheep we have spoiled 
will head for the high ground

One hundred years later
We will not have enemies
But we will still have prisons  
An antiquated carbine rifle will still exist 
To tell our tough past

One hundred years later
We will still protect our land,
Preserving the millet roots
And a lifetime warmth
We will have the faith-veiled clouds 
Rested in peace upon stone tablets

我试着忘记
提灯笼的你
北京的夜晚菊黄的光
行走的人脚步很乱

我们原谅过一些人
宽恕季风一样的消息
我们在阳光下碰杯
围绕青春的话题

你告诉我
某个夜晚提灯前行
你总会碰到你的前世
碰到还活着的一些人

我终于可以在此处停下
整理行装
看看分別后你的背影
依旧布衣蓝衫
依旧那么脚步轻盈


【The Beijing Past】
                ------By Maidong 
 
I attempted to forget 
As you were holding the lantern 
Beijing’s night was filled with the sodium light
People were walking sporadically 

We have forgiven some people
Like forgiving the message from a monsoon
We drink and cheer under the sunshine
Talking about the times of being young 
  
You tell me
Whilst walking with lanterns at one night
You always encountered your previous life
And met some people who are still alive

I finally can stop here 
Packing up the things
And looking at your back after being apart
You are still in a blue cotton shirt
You are still walking gracefully and lightly

诗人简介 (Poet's Bio)

麦冬,诗人，现居西安。1980年开始发表作品，先后有十四部作品集在港台澳英出版，作品入选多种年度选本。音乐作品:电视连续剧《一起走过的日子》片尾歌《走了》词作者。


Maidong now lives in Xi'an. His poetry was first published in 1980. Since that time, fourteen volumes of his poetry have been released in the UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao. Some of his poems were also appeared in various annual poetry anthologies. Musical works: He is also the songwriter for “Gone” which is the theme song for the TV series "Together we have gone through".
