主讲人Margarethe Peffer 简介

經歷：
Currently Margarethe works at DPR Construction as an IT Transformation and Service Management Manager. DPR Construction exists to build great things! DPR is a great company who believes in their people, the buildings they build and providing great service. DPR was ranked #10 on Fortune’s Best Companies to work for in 2014, the 5th consecutive year DPR made Fortune’s list.

Prior to DPR Margarethe worked at Hewlett-Packard for 15 years in various management positions including Senior IT Software Development Manager, Enterprise & Data Architecture Manager, Global Supply Operations Service Manager.

Margarethe’s friends wonder why she dedicates so much of her life to Rotary & Youth Services, but she cannot imagine not being part of Rotary; watching, laughing, teaching, learning. Margarethe is truly blessed to have another family in Interact, especially one that will always keep her young. Between RYLA & Interact, she has been involved with Rotary for 16 years! She asks our Rotary youth to tell her one thing that made a difference in their life, because each of them makes a difference in hers.

On a personal note, Margarethe lives close to downtown San Jose and is mom to two sons, Tom and Matt, and grandmother to five grandchildren (Morgan, Jack, George, Henry & Jayne). She loves to hike and has taken a 7-day hike in Yosemite, hiking over 20,000 feet of elevation in six days. The last day, she hiked a 3000 foot climb to an elevation of 11,800 ft. The geological landmarks were amazing! This was such a great accomplishment. On the last day of the hike at the height of her journey, she could even see the red star inside the Scorpio constellation!
