The fund-raising efforts initiated by SF Shanghai Association to help the family of Jessie Liu, who was killed in a car accident on August 1, 2017, caused strong repercussions with $33,709.11 collected.    Expressing gratitude to the donators, Hazel Lee, founder and President of the association, says apart from the financial support, it is important to help her two teen-aged sons grow up sound in body and mind.  Hazel Lee and other warm-hearted people in the community will take them to a Baptist Church for counseling and education.
