There is an old saying: Sonoma makes wine, Napa makes auto parts. On MLK day, I got a chance to visit the beautiful J winery in Sonoma.

I had a wonderful time at the tasting room. I was extremely happy to try the barrel 16 which is not on the tasting list

J is mostly famous for its sparkling wine.

Other wines were pretty impressive as well

Using visa signature cards, you can get free tasting at SEGHESIO family vineyards.

Most wines here are not served at any restaurants. Since they have to purchase their grapes from someone else, their wines are little more expensive, but taste pretty good

The best part of the day: I was lucky to dine at this little hidden Gem- a Spanish tapas bar, because a lot of other restaurants are closed on Monday. The prices are very reasonable and food is soooo tasty.

Crispy Anchovy Tostada

Goat Cheese Tostada

Pan Tomate

Serrano Ham and Manchego Bocadillo

Patatas Bravas

The bacon wrapped dates were ridiculously delicious

Bacalao Fritters were made with cod

Duck Meatball Bocadillo was that good....

Here came the pork cheek bocaodillo

Of course, I have to mention the white grape and almond gazpacho, what a nice presentation

Hopefully next time I will be adventurous to try the fried pork ears. For chorizo lovers, you have to visit this place.
