A Construction company is looking for an Accounting Manager / Accounting Assistant to join our growing, dynamic team.
Accounting Manager
The Accounting Manager will oversee the whole accounting process and supervise the accounting assistant. In particular, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
-Accounts Receivable, including prepare and send billing packages, collect payments, file supplier waivers and check copies, and follow up with Project Manager regarding change orders
-Handle payroll and tax filing
-Responsible for monthly financial close activities and reconciliation
-Prepare for audits (insurance, bank, payroll, etc)
-Manage cash flow planning and forecasting
-Ensure and improve the accounting system and process
-Additional assignments as directed by the President
Qualifications:
-Highly organized and detail oriented
-Good communication and multi-task skills
-Independent with positive attitude
-Proficient in MS Excel & Word
-Good verbal & written
-A bachelor's degree in business or accounting, with few years of relevant accounting job experience and training
Accounting Assistant
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable under the accountant's supervision.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Accounts Payable:
-Assess and validate invoices
-Issue checks and make payments
-File paid invoices
Accounts Receivable:
-Prepare and send billing packages
-Collect payments from customers
-File billing packages, supplier waivers, and check copies
Qualifications:
-Knowledge of MS Excel & Word.
-Good verbal & written communication skills
-A bachelor's degree in business or accounting or equivalent. Training will be provided
We offer health insurance, dental insurance, and PTO after probation. We also offer bonus based on employee's performance.
