个人简介

張偉民， 副教授， 終身教授美國舊金山州立大學電影学院

       张伟民，1991年毕业于北京电影学院故事片摄影专业。作為中國電影的“第六代”電影人，曾在中國和美國影视界做為電影攝影師和導演創作了一系列優秀的獲奬影片。自1991年起， 她曾經作為攝影師創作了一系列獲奬故事片，電視劇以及紀錄片等等。其中包括在國際電影節獲奬的故事片： 《祝你好运》，《葛老爺子》，《鹤童》；長篇電視劇《鴉片戰爭演義》和《中國老字號》； 以及記錄片 《女书–神秘的女性文字》，获意大利女性电影节最佳纪录片奖。 1997年， 张伟民去美国深造。 取得美國俄亥俄大學電影製作專業, Master of Fine Art （MFA) 学位（艺术类终极学位）， 以及互動多媒體设计碩士學位。 她在此期间创作的    “The House of Spirit”（精神之屋）荣获Women in Film 女性电影奖，并入选芝加哥亚美电影节，温哥华亚美电影节等许多国际电影节。伟民自2000年自俄亥俄大学电影及多媒体研究所毕业后，进入著名的好莱坞的电影后期制作公司Delux 公司担任多媒体设计师， 于此同时， 她继续在业界从事影视创作和实践活动。 

其中担任了由吴天明导演的《首席执行官》的美国组摄影指导，以及纪录片，影视制作和多媒体创作等等

       自2003年起， 伟民开始了她的执教生涯。 她先应聘到香港浸会大学电影电视系担任助理教授，开设并编写和教授了首届MFA的电影制作课程。自2006年開始，应聘于美国舊金山州立大學電影系任教。教授本科及研究生电影摄影和电影制作課程，其中包括：電影攝影及燈光；紀錄片電影製作；國際紀錄片工作坊；电影攝影藝術以及中国纪录片等科目。2005年， 俄亥俄大学授予张伟民杰出成就校友奖。2011年，伟民荣获旧金山州立大学的终身教授荣誉。

在旧金山州大任教期间，张伟民不但创作了一系列的获奖的影视作品例如

 Green Mountain In a Drawer（抽屉里的青山)和The City（这城市）等等。 同时在互动多媒体领域取得了可喜的成就.她创作的互动多媒体光盘“女书”获得美国国会图书馆收藏作品。作為資深的紀錄片導演， 攝影師和獨立電影製作片。 2008年， 張偉民受邀担任美國組導演參與由國際奧組委監制，由中央新聞紀錄電影製片廠承制2008年中國奧運會官方紀錄電影《永恒之火：北京2008》的为期一年的制作。 本片荣获蒙特利尔国际电影节评委特别奖以及意大利米兰纪录片大奖。2011年，张伟民作为特约导演创作了中央电视台纪录片频道的6集系列纪录片的《茶，一片树叶的故事》。本片在2012年11月在CCTV–纪录片频道播出，并于2013年中国世界山地电影节上获得人文纪录片大奖。于此同时，她创作执导的历时8年的长篇纪录片Hutong Days《胡同的日子》完成。这部影片被选入了很多国际电影节并获得若干奖项。 同时这部影片被邀请参加很多纪录片学术研讨会和高等学府像斯坦福大学，旧金山大学，俄勒冈大学等等以及很多海外中国文化研究中心的放映。 

Prof. Zhang is an award-winning filmmaker – one of China’s Sixth Generation filmmakers – and a graduate of the Beijing Film Academy and School of Film, Ohio University. She has worked on numerous award-winning films, documentaries, and TV drama series in both China and the U.S. Her many successes include The House of Spirit, which won the “Women in Film Award” and was also featured in over a dozen film festivals. In 2008, as a U.S. unit director, she filmed the U.S. Olympic athletes pre during the post 2008 Olympics as well as the San Francisco torch relay sequence which became the major content appeared in the award winning feature documentary film, The Ever Lasting Flame – Beijing 2008. The film has become the permanent collection in Olympic Museum, Lausanne, Switzerland. In addition, the award winning feature films that she worked as director of photographer include: Grandfather Ge, The Homebound Crane, CEO and Green Mountain in a Drawer; The 27 episodes TV drama series that she worked as cinematographer including The Opium War and The Legends of 100 Year Old of Chinese Business. Nushu – The Secret Writing of Women in China won the best documentary film at 8th Torino International Women’s Film Festival, Italy in 1999. 

In addition, she is also a professional multimedia designer who worked in Deluxe, a Hollywood film post-production company as a multimedia and animation artist. The interactive multimedia DVD-Rom,  “Nushu – The Women’s Secret Writing” that she designed won 2007 International Audio/Visual Platinum Award, and was acquisitioned as permanent collection by The Library of Congress.
