Dear all,
We hope to see many of you on Saturday for the CZU relief collection drive. Thank you in advance for your time and contribution.
Collection Date: Saturday, Sept. 12
Collection Time: 12-2 p.m.
Collection Location: Harker Middle School Parking Lot, 3800 Blackford Ave, San Jose
Please enter the Blackford campus using the entrance closest to the school (front loading zone). Only one gate will be open allowing for a single line of cars to enter the campus and proceed to the back of the parking lot where the volunteers will be stationed.
We will be conducting a contactless drop off, in accordance with school guidelines. Please remain in your car and we will collect the items from your trunk or back seat. For our safety and yours, please have a mask on while we collect the items.
We will be working with the County of Santa Cruz. Based on the information provided on their website and by a phone representative, they need the following items:
HIGH-NEED ITEMS (NEW ONLY)
Men’s clothing – pants, t-shirts, shoes, socks, underwear, hoodies, sweatshirts and sweat pants
Women’s clothing – pants, t-shirts, shoes, socks, underwear, hoodies, sweatshirts and sweat pants
Bath and hand towels
Bed sheets/linens – queen-sized and smaller
Sleeping bags and sleeping pads
Pillows and Pillow cases
Ice chests, coolers
Personal Items - personal hygiene products, toiletries
FOOD ITEMS (NONPERISHABLE AND INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED)
Granola Bars (nut free)
Water bottles
Crackers/Cookies
