CCCA Annual General Meeting - welcome all CCCA members to attend this meeting. Dear Member,
We are writing to invite you to join us at the Association’s Annual General Meeting.
The 2016 Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at
340 Ferrier St, Unit 238, Markham, ON L3R 2Z5
The Annual General Meeting will commence at 4:00 p.m. and to be followed by the Dinner at 6:00 p.m. Dinner cost is $30 per person all inclusive.
As in the past, the purpose of the Annual General Meeting is to approve the minutes of last annual general meeting and this year financial statements, to elect the Association’s 2017 Executives and Board Directors, and to hear any other important reports.
A good choice of candidates willing to commit their time and efforts is crucial to the vibrancy and health of our Association. According to the Constitution 13.6, the deadline for the submission of nomination form is Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 6:00pm to Nomination Chair, Tom Pang (h) 416-447-0446 or email: Thomas.e.pang@hotmail.com.
According to Constitution 13.5 members in good standing on or before May 20, 2016 may apply for the Board Executives or Directors.
Please note that, for the purposes of the AGM, eligible voters are only those members who are:
1. fully paid up new members on or before Nov. 16, 2016; or
2. fully paid up members in 2016 in good standing and who renew their 2017 membership prior to the commencement of the AGM.
The annual membership fee is $10.00 and you have to be a CPC Member too.
All CCCA members are welcome, and the dinner cost is $30 per person.
Your attendance and input at the AGM and Dinner are vital to the continuing success of your Association’s efforts to voice its opinions on matters that affect our community.
