墙角的大象：人兽混血儿

人兽混血儿这个项目已经通过欧巴马政府批准，用纳税人钱来做。在9/6/2016之前公众有发言反对的机会，之后就成为法律，可以实施了。我好希望不是真的，可惜不是危言耸听。
我以前一直有个疑问：二战时候，德国有良知的人呢？况且德国是有很多教会的，纳粹德国的教会是如何坐视犹太人被种族灭绝，国家公民变成炮灰和杀人机器的呢？善良的人们、教会都哑巴了么？居然让这么离谱的事情发生？
现在我明白了，因为当时希特勒是这样的，和我们现在的掌权者一样：" You take care of the church. You pastors should worry about getting people to heaven and leave this world to me." - Adolf Hitler
而当时的教会会众和今天也没什么两样，是这样的：“Jesus was like an insurance policy against eternal fire." -The Dirty Parts of the Bible
教会就像个俱乐部，那么墙角那只大象被所有人假装看不见也就顺理成章了。

我希望这个是假消息，可是是由Sarah Kim, 这个和牧师丈夫一起来声援我们阻击亚裔细分法的师母和主内姐妹发过来的，仔细一看还真的不是假消息，再询问一下我在FDA的学霸同学医药专家。 好家伙要搞人和动物的混合体了，用大猩猩和人的基因混合，希望能够用来收获人体器官。我的老天！混淆概念的结果是什么？人和牲畜一样？如果混血儿和人一样有思想有感情，我们把他像牲口一样杀了？ 何时是人？何时是畜生？

我是按照Sarah给我的反对信写的。这年头这种东西层出不穷，我都成上访专业户了。但是有思想有底线的人，在这个时候是无法保持沉默的。
I oppose taxpayer-funded research on human-animal hybrids. There are many possible ethical violations at different levels. Chimeras can potentially have human brains or human sperms/eggs that can result in human offspring even with all the necessary safety precautions. To what extent can an animal have human genes and still considered just an animal? Human-animal hybrids are violation of human dignity, violation of the order of nature, violation of the dignity of the humanized animal, and moral confusion. In addition, the majority of Americans oppose gene editing. It is clearly wrong to use the American’s taxpayer money to fund the very research that we oppose.
