11 Lexington Ave., East Brunswick, NJ 08816

Lisa Lieberman-Wang,Fine to FAB

Lisa被选为嘉宾专家,出现在数以百万人观看的ABC, FOX, CBS, Huffington Post LIVE, Dish Network 55, Direct TV 55, Comcast Cable of NJ 10, TWC 85和包括一些最流行的访谈节目,如CBS的“The_TALK” ,与Donna Drake 在WLYN 10 的“Live It Up” ,与Dr. Barrett 在 “The Health of It”上 ,NuvoTV 中的“Curvy Girls”,并在一些最负盛名的包括哈佛大学和在海军纪念馆的讲台上演讲。

Stress-Free Parenting: How to Raise Successful, Well-Adjusted Kids

Chinese Evangel Mission Church of New Jersey 11 Lexington Ave., East Brunswick, NJ 08816

Straight "A" students are no less prone to depression or anxiety. Similarly, Ivy League degrees do not immunize the degree holders from different forms of challenges they may face later in life, such as layoffs, divorce, bankruptcy and other vagaries of life. If ineffectively dealt with, these personal challenges may result in forms of self-sabotage like emotional eating, alcoholism, drug abuse or excessive spending.

Therefore, raising successful children is about a lot more than simply helping them getting good grades and gaining acceptance into prestigious universities. In fact, many important life skills are not taught or measured by our schools academic curricula. For example, SAT scores do not measure a child's ability to deal with and overcome challenges and difficulties of life. Grades do not measure a student's ability maintain his or her emotional equilibrium during times of stress. Self-knowledge of one's strength and weaknesses, interests and dislikes, is not taught in schools, nor is it a prerequisite for entering Harvard or Yale. Yet, no one can deny that these "soft" skills are necessary for a happy, well-adjusted life.

What then can we as parents do to help our children to sidestep the "potholes" of life and overcome its inevitable problems and difficulties, to help our children become not just good students, but well-adjusted adults and productive citizens of our communities? This is the topics of this month's PCE event.

About the Speaker:

Lisa Lieberman-Wang CEO, Founder of FINE to FAB

Lisa is the author of the #1 Internationally bestselling book FINE to FAB. She has helped thousands of people overcome lifelong emotional challenges including depression, anxiety, stress, self-sabotage, emotional eating, compulsive shopping, sexual  abuse.

Lisa does not approach this topic from a theoretical perspective. Instead, her approach is highly personal and practical. Lisa developed her strategies 20 years ago in order to fill a need in her own life. Despite being an overachiever to please her parents, an honor student, and college scholarship recipient, she struggled for years feeling she was “never good enough”; this resulted in years with depression, compulsive overeating, binge-eating, bulimia, hospitalizations and self-sabotage. She looked for the answer to “What’s wrong with me?” never finding a solution despite spending over a half a million dollars on therapy and self-help education after college. She later realized that emotional pain and negative thinking did not have to hold her back any longer. She used the 7 Secrets of FAB to reclaim her inner peace and power, and has been free for the past 20 years. Now Lisa dedicates her own life to helping others to find that same freedom.

Lisa has been featured as an expert guest and seen by millions on ABC, FOX, CBS, Huffington Post LIVE, Dish Network 55, Direct TV 55, Comcast Cable of NJ 10, TWC 85 including some of the most popular talk shows, including “The_TALK” on CBS, “Live It Up” with Donna Drake on WLYN 10, “The Health of It” on with Dr. Barrett, “Curvy Girls” on NuvoTV and has spoken on some of most prestigious stages, including Harvard University and at the Navy Memorial.
