Ahhh, elementary school, so hard and boring. Off to middle school, the easiest school grade ever. Nah, just kidding, it’s probably the other way around, or is it? Anyway, I’ll miss that extra hour of sleeping time that I had in elementary school. I would rather not go to middle school because Park Village is the best and only school I’ve ever been to. I’ve gone to Park Village for six years now, from Mrs. Bartlett`s big chicken to Mrs. marker`s egg stories. Although who would be first, the chicken or the egg? Many great memories have been made at Park Village, like in fourth grade we drenched each other at the park. Or when Mrs. Shalinsky made her class does some gardening work. Good times, you can always make memories anywhere.

        One thing you can`t always get is inspiration to go to school. Sometimes you think “I don't wanna go to school” (I certainly have), but I am lucky and have friends and family to support me. Thanks to all my teachers, Mrs. Bartlett, Mrs. Stouder, Mrs. Shalinsky, Mrs. Alfonso, Mrs. Winters,  Mrs. Marker, and of course, Mr. Cecena. They taught me how to be a great student, writer, math wiz, scientist, history police, and book worm. Without them, I wouldn't be smarter than Mrs. Marker`s dogs. Of course I wouldn't survive without my parents who sheltered, fed, supported me and made me happy! I also couldn't survive fourth grade without my good group of friends known as Techno Penguins. Too bad most of them are in middle school right now. They probably flying on their eagle wings while we`re just surfing like a penguin. Finally, my biggest inspiration is my brother Alf. This guy is my biggest inspiration because of his humor and loving. Always correcting me in a good way and helping me. His best quote is “deal with it” which means you`ll just have to accept life. That is what helps inspire me to go to school every day and deal with it.

       Now we penguins can spread our dormant wings and fly like an eagle. Now we don't catch waves, we catch updraft! All in all these past few years have been the best years ever.

再见，小学生活----艰难而枯燥的六年; 你好，初中生涯----学生时代最轻松的三年。开个玩笑，事实或许正相反，大家说，是不是？

不管轻松还是艰难，我怀念小学里那多睡的一个小时②。我宁愿不去中学, 继续呆在这里，因为Park Village是我上过的唯一的也是最好的学校！在Park Village的六年，从学前班Bartlett 老师的小鸡仔③，我长成了五年级Marker 老师 的大鸡蛋③　(尽管先有鸡还是先有蛋的争议，至今无解）。Park Village的许多时光留存为美好的回忆， 如四年级时全年级在公园的水枪大战，又如二年级在Shalinsky老师班上时，全班一起培植的小花园—--无法忘却的记忆无处不在。

“坚持每天上学去”是许多人学生生涯中经常需要得到鼓励的一件事。时不时的，作为学生的你会有这样的念头“今天我不想去学校”。毫不例外的，我有过这念头。幸运是，靠着一直支持我的家人和朋友，我坚持了！感谢我所有的老师们， Bartlett 老师, Stouder 老师, Shalinsky 老师, Alfonso 老师,  Winters 老师 和 Marker 老师④，当然，还有我们尊敬的校长Cecena 先生。他们教我如何成为一个好学生，一个写作者，数学尖子，科学爱好者，历史警察，还有----书虫！没有他们的谆谆教诲，今天的我，睿智或仍不及Marker 老师家的小狗狗们。其次，如果没有我亲爱的爸爸妈妈的呵护，教养，支持，让我快乐，我也不会成长到今天。同样，如果没有前年Park Village的乐高机器人比赛队，没有我们那一群自称“Techno Penguin”的小伙伴，我也许还无法安然度过我的四年级，可惜今天他们中的大部分都已在初中。此刻，当我们的企鹅之掌逐浪正欢之际，或许他们正申展着飞鹰之翅悠然而翔。

最后，不得不提的是我生活中最大的鼓舞者----我的哥哥周思鹏。一直以来，这哥们以他的幽默和爱护鼓励着我，无时不在的帮助我，纠正我。他的名言是“面对它”---- 即你必须面对现实，接受生活。就是这句话激励着我坚持每天去学校，并学会应对一切。

终于----今天，此刻，我们这些企鹅可以尽情展开羽翼如飞鹰般翱翔了!我们不再追逐那翻腾而逝的浪花，我们将转而追逐那盘旋而上的气流！

言而总之，这一切逝去的岁月永远是最美好的时光。

翀翀的小学Park Village Elementary School的吉祥物是企鹅，页面左上角为小学的标志。

今年九月他将就学的初中Mesa Verde Middle School的吉祥物为飞鹰，页面右上角为初中的标志。

②Park Village  小学早上的上课时间是9点，而初中Mesa Verde的上课时间是8点。

③有些老师喜欢把自己班级的学生比作各种小动物。

④这里的小学是一个老师全面负责一个班，语文数学体育全教。所以六年教过他的就是六个老师。
